Adams State University Music Department presents, The Music of Americas Project and 68 West, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2l, in Richardson Hall.

注册送现金可直接提现The concert will feature 16 music majors that are each multi-instrumentalists and singers. They will be performing music from the Caribbean, South America and the U.S. This group of students plays music that ranges from high-energy salsa, steel band, merengue, samba, jazz, reggae, guaguanco to New Orleans brass music. For the concert they will perform the works of Celia Cruz, Poncho Sanchez, Ozomatli, Frankie Ruiz, Boogie Sharpe and more.

In January, this group of students will perform at the Colorado Music Educators Conference in Colorado Springs. The concert will also feature 68 West performing acapella jazz and pop favorites.

Admission is $5 for adults, $1 for students and seniors and free to AS&F and Friends of Music with a season pass.
